Online Alleged Misconduct for Calendar Year 2015 and 2015 Policy Training Compliance

Each Chief Law Enforcement Officer (CLEO) is required to disclose the data requested under Minn. Stat. 626.8459 and Minn. Stat. 636.8567, subd. 3 for the “Alleged Misconduct for Calendar Year 2015” and the “Policy and Training Compliance” forms.  In order to submit these forms on the POST Board website the CLEO will need to create an account, claim their license and if needed appoint a designee.  These forms can only be submitted online. 

  The deadline for submitting these forms is Monday, October 3, 2016.  (See directions below) 


 “How To Create an Account and Claim Your License”
  • Click “Online Services” and click “Create an Online Account.”
  • Click “Register Here” (bottom right hand corner) to complete the registration process
  • Enter the user information with a valid email and password
  • Click “Create Account”
  • Click on the link “Go to Login Page”
  • Login with user credentials (same email and password you just created)
Once logged in, user will be prompted with a message to choose the Board they are doing business with.
  •  Select “Peace Officer Standards & Training Board “
  • Navigate to the next page to choose the desired profile.
  • Select “Licensed Peace Officer”
  • Click “Next” to navigate to the next page

 User will be prompted with a message about the user’s license number and last four digits of their SSN.

  •  Click “Finish” to navigate to the “Search & Link/Claim Your License” page
User will be prompted with instructions on how to Search & Link/Claim Your License
  • Enter your license number and the last four digits of your SSN
  • Click "Search"
  • Click the checkbox for your license and any additional licenses or applications
  • Click "Claim" and after a few seconds a confirmation message will appear.
  • Click "Return to Dashboard."
At this point the user will be able to access available options in the actions dropdown list.


Tracking of Continuing Education Credits

​Beginning July 1, 2016, Continuing Education Sponsors of POST approved training will be required to submit "Affidavit of Attendance" rosters to the POST Board.  We encourage agencies to send the document(s) via e-mail to We will also accept the training documents by mail or fax (651-643-3072) if needed.    You will find the "Affidavit of Attendance" rosters as well as more information regarding the "Tracking of Continuing Education Credits" on our website under the "Continuing Education" tab.   FYI...PATROL Online rosters will be submitted by the League of Minnesota Cities. An agency should only submit a roster from courses approved under their sponsor number.
