Standards and best practices
The SECB standards are intended to describe actions, methods, processes, and specifications that, if implemented as specified, should result in optimal performance/usage of the emergency communication system/technology and promote interoperability between responders.
Our best practices refer to recommended techniques or methodologies that provide guidance regarding generally accepted practices and/or the preferred mechanism to achieve a desired outcome.
On occasion, the SECB will publish informational documents to provide stakeholders with insight on a particular topic related to emergency communications.
