Security Services Task Force

The Security Services Task Force was established by the Minnesota Legislature in 2026 to advise and make recommendations on security and protective services provided to members of the Minnesota Legislature. 

By Feb. 1, 2027, the commissioner of public safety and the task force must jointly submit a report on the task force to the chairs and ranking minority members of legislative committees with jurisdiction over state government, public safety and transportation and to the Advisory Committee on Capitol Area Security.
