Bureau of Criminal Apprehension

A Division of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety

The Criminal and Juvenile Justice Information Advisory Group studies and makes recommendations to the governor, the Supreme Court, and the legislature on issues that oftentimes follow extensive study and reporting by a Delivery Team.

The Advisory Group also prepares a biennial report for the legislature on the status of statewide criminal justice information systems, recommendations for legislative changes and appropriations, and funding or grant requests made by the Advisory Group.

The Advisory Group publishes meeting minutes and materials, as well as a newsletter containing a summary of discussion and action taken at the meetings. The newsletters do not replace the official meeting minutes.
