Can your company participate in Fleet Registration?

Companies or corporations with 50 or more motor vehicles may qualify for the fleet registration program.

Program Benefits

• All passenger vehicles expire in the same month
• Renewal notification is for the fleet instead of individual notices for each vehicle
• Non-expiring plates eliminate the need to affix yearly registration stickers
• Escrow account option saves you time and paperwork. Your pre-established escrow account is used to pay fees and taxes.
• Monthly reconciliation statements are provided

Getting Started

Fleet registration is handled through the DVS Central office. Customers who would like to participate should contact DVS at (651) 297-2126 or email DVS.motor.vehicles@state.mn.us.

Begin the process by sending a list of all the vehicles you want in the program to DVS at DVS.motor.vehicles@state.mn.us. The list must include:

• License plate number
• Vehicle identification number
• Year and make of the vehicle
• Current month of expiration
• Gross weight for gross weight vehicles

Upon receipt of this information, you are notified of your fees.

After payment is made, your fleet plates and new registration cards are mailed.
