This 21-day temporary permit is issued by Minnesota dealers to Minnesota residents while they wait for their permanent license plates to arrive. It may not be renewed and is issued to all classes of vehicles.

The permit is to be affixed to the rear of the vehicle where the license plate is normally mounted.
