Time with Training for DRs and DLAs
The Driver and Vehicles Services (DVS) training team hosts monthly training for deputy registrars (DRs) and driver's license agents (DLAs). Make it a priority for your office staff to attend training each month. It's an important way to stay informed of legislative and business process changes.
- Watch your email at the beginning of each month for an agenda for the coming month.
- The reminder sent the day before training begins includes the handouts for that month.

Training sessions are held on the third Tuesday and Wednesday of the month, unless otherwise noted.

Motor vehicle training for new employees
Training on motor vehicle transactions is open for registration. This training covers the basics for motor vehicle transactions and includes both the business process and MNDRIVE entry. The class is split up over 2 days and will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. both days. The class is open to any DR staff who wish to attend.
Register below for the class. Your office supervisor will also get a confirmation email. If you do not receive an email after signing up, check your spam folder. Contact the DVS Training unit if you have not received the email after 30 minutes.
2026 trainings
Training sessions are held the second Wednesday and Thursday of the scheduled months. Sign-up for the training at least one business day before the first class date of your desired session.
