Resolve CDL license under withdrawal
Driving privileges withdrawn
If your commercial driver's license (CDL) is under withdrawal, it means your privilege to drive is no longer valid. DVS will not take your physical card. You can still use your card as identification while you’re under withdrawal. DVS has taken away your privilege to drive. There are multiple categories for withdrawal.
Suspended
Here are some reasons your license may be suspended:
• Non-payment of child support
• Failure to appear/pay for a moving violation
• Receiving over a certain number of moving violations within a period
• Receiving a DWI while driving in another state
• Driving after a withdrawal
Revoked
Here are some reasons your license may be revoked:
• Driving without insurance
• Receiving a DWI
• Being charged with a drug-related offense
• Speeding over 100 mph
• Fleeing a peace officer
Canceled and denied as inimical to public safety
Your third incident on record within 10 years or fourth incident on record.
• Driving While Impaired conviction
• Implied consent
• Search warrant violations
Canceled
Here are some reasons your license may be canceled:
• Failing to appear for an interview with a driver evaluator.
• Unable to drive due to a medical issue.
• Voluntary surrender of your driving privileges.
