HSEM Emergency Management Professional Certification and Training Program
The HSEM Emergency Management Training Program provides three levels of professional training designed to fit the multi-faceted roles and responsibilities of our diverse emergency management community.
These three training tracks are aimed at specific audiences whose roles require different sets of knowledge. Additionally, HSEM is implementing a sponsorship process, which is required for anyone who is not a state or local emergency management professional or staff, prior to taking classroom courses.

HSEM Exercise Program
HSEM’s comprehensive exercise program provides a structure for determining needs, coordinating efforts and collaborating on exercises conducted on a regional, state, county or local level. This ensures local program alignment to the statewide priorities and preparedness strategy.

Emergency Managers, please use the TEP-EZ Form 2016 User to report planned training and exercise activities sponsored by your jurisdiction.(see the TEP-EZ-Form Instructions here) These activities will be added to the state multi-year training and exercise program list.
