Missing persons: 17-years-old or younger ​

​When a child is missing, there​ are many questions – what to do, when to do it and how to do it. It is overwhelming. 

The Department of Justice has created a family survival guide for those with missing children. It takes families through each step and gives a roadmap for moving forward.

Missing persons: adults (18-years-old or older)

Brandon's Law requires law enforcement to report and investigate (“without delay”) the disappearance of any person over 18 years of age. ​Review the requirements for Brandon​'s Law.​

  • If you or someone you know is in immediate danger of being trafficked, call 911.
  • To report a suspected trafficking situation, call the BCA at 1-877-996-6222 or email bca.tips@state.mn.us.
