The MMIR Office provides a variety of services to law enforcement to support and aid in their investigations in active missing persons or homicide cases with an Indigenous victim.  

This includes collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting crime and incident data, facilitating collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and enabling the exchange of intelligence and information between law enforcement agencies, organizations, community groups, emergency management and Tribal Nations.

Our Intelligence Specialist has also supported medical examiners with locating next of kin and support identifying Indigenous relatives.
