Pathways to Policing Grant Program
Description of the program
Pathways to Policing funds programs to recruit and train law enforcement officers with nontraditional backgrounds. Pathways to Policing Grants may cover up to 50 percent of the cost of compensation, equipment and training at a Minnesota Professional Police Officer Education (PPOE) program. Pathways to Policing participants are expected to obtain state peace officer licensure within the grant period.
