PAUL — Department of Public Safety Commissioner Mona Dohman has appointed Scott Anderson, Rich Duysen, Kevin Stewart, Crawford Wiestling and Steve Zaccard, and reappointed Peg Bohn, Tom Brace, Colin Emans, Jim Fisher, Scott Futrell, Mark Kulda, William Mohr, M.D., Chris Parsons, Gary Rupp and Dennis Stark to the Governor’s Council on Fire Prevention and Control. Their appointments run through December 31, 2018.
Scott Anderson, of Minneapolis, represents the Minnesota Society of American Institute of Architects.
Peg Bohn, of Eagan, represents the Minnesota Chapter of the National Fire Sprinkler Association.
Tom Brace, of St. Paul, represents the Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association.
Rich Duysen, of Moorhead, represents the League of Minnesota Cities.
Colin Emans, of White Bear Lake, represents RAM Mutual Insurance Company.
Jim Fisher, of Zim, represents the Minnesota Association of Townships.
Scott Futrell, of Osseo, represents the Minnesota Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers.
Mark Kulda, of Maple Grove, represents the Insurance Federation of Minnesota.
Dr. William Mohr, of St. Paul, represents the Regions Hospital Burn Center.

Crawford Wiestling, of Savage, represents the Minnesota Chapter of International Association of Arson Investigators.
Steve Zaccard, of St. Paul, represents the Fire Marshals Association of Minnesota.
The 1969 Legislature established the Governor’s Council on Fire Prevention and Control. The council’s mission is to develop fire education, protection and prevention services for the citizens of Minnesota. The council is made up of up to 15 members, who are appointed by the commissioner of Public Safety. Council members represent a diverse range of organizations, including fire safety professions and those affected by fire safety activities or regulations.
