Commissioner Dohman Reappoints Christiansen to Minnesota Crime Victims Reparations Board
ST. PAUL — Department of Public Safety Commissioner Mona Dohman reappointed Amy Christiansen to the Minnesota Crime Victims Reparations Board, a program that provides compensation to victims and their families for losses incurred due to a violent crime.
- Amy Christiansen, of Inver Grove Heights, has served on the board for the past two years helping ensure crime victims are given the financial support to help them recover emotionally, physically and financially when they find themselves a victim of a crime. She looks forward to continuing to making a difference in the lives of people impacted by crime.
The Minnesota Crime Victims Reparations Board provides compensation to victims of violent crime and their families. Since its creation in 1974, the program has eased the financial burdens of thousands of crime victims. The Reparations Board is a unit of the Office of Justice Programs, a division of the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
