Subject Identified in St. Paul Officer Involved Shooting

​​ST. PAUL — The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who died during an officer involved shooting incident that happened Thursday evening in St. Paul.

Phume (no middle name) Lee, 28, of 1005 Lafond Avenue in St. Paul, died of multiple gunshot wounds.

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) is investigating the incident at the request of the St. Paul Police Department. The BCA’s investigation is in its very early stages. The BCA provide additional information about the incident, including the officer’s names, once the initial round of interviews with incident participants and any witnesses is complete.
