The purpose of the Operations and Technical Committee (OTC) is to advise the Statewide Emergency Communications Board on matters that pertain to the operational and technical aspects of the ARMER system. The committee reviews all participation plans, infrastructure modifications and additions. Any proposed changes are reviewed and forwarded to the board. The committee has representation from all regions of the state, thus assuring that all issues that are brought forward are discussed and vetted through a process that assures that all interests are represented. The committee also reviews any proposed changes to the operational standards and forwards them to other committees as appropriate.

The Operations and Technical Committee (OTC) meets on the second Tuesday of each month. Meeting materials must be submitted to the committee coordinator no later than eight days prior to the meeting.
Minutes will be posted when they approved by the Committee. Minutes are reviewed during the meeting immediately following any meeting of the Committee for which minutes are taken; e.g., minutes taken for the May meeting will be posted in June, and minutes taken for the June meeting will be posted in July.
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 14 at 1:00 p.m. at the MnDot Training Center in Shoreview/Arden Hills and via conference call and Lync meeting.
