This virtual workshop will provide information about financial assistance available to crime victims from the Minnesota Crime Victims Reimbursement Program. We'll outline the program's eligibility requirements, as well as the appeal rights available to applicants dissatisfied with the Crime Victims Reimbursement Board’s actions on their claim. 

During the session, we'll discuss benefits available to crime victims, rate limits and caps on the benefits and the application process. We'll cover the board’s commitment to hold criminal offenders accountable by requesting and recovering restitution in charged cases and how to increase collaboration to better assist victims with the reimbursement process.
