​ST. PAUL— The Minnesota Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) is investigating an incident involving an inmate at the Beltrami County Jail. Jail personnel found the inmate unresponsive in his cell Dec. 7 at about 11:30 a.m. He was taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo and placed on life support. The Beltrami County Sheriff asked the BCA to investigate this incident. More information will be released pending further investigation.
