​ST. PAUL – The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed the identity of the second person shot during an incident May 30 in Minneapolis. According to the medical examiner, Mohamed Aden, 36 of Columbia Heights died on Friday, June 7 of complications from multiple gunshot wounds. Aden was shot inside the apartment on Blaisdell Ave in the same incident that killed Osman Said Jimale.

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) continues to actively investigate this incident. The BCA is investigating both the now-double homicide in the apartment on Blaisdell Avenue and the use-of-force incident that happened a short time later. Due to the active nature of the investigation, there are no other updates available at this time.
