OJP has developed a set of sample prosecution letters that cover the wide variety of notification letters that must be sent to victims during the course of a prosecution. The sample letter set and model notice below are in Word so that they can be customized
by the prosecutor's office.

The Crime Victim Rights brochure
satisfies the prosecutor's statutory obligation under Minnesota Statutes
section 611A.02(c).
Both the Post Conviction brochure and model notice satisfy the prosecutor's obligation under Minnesota Statutes section 611A.039, subd. 1. Sample postconviction notification request forms that victims can complete are included in the set of Sample Prosecution Letters to Victims.
