Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) agents on Tuesday arrested Timothy Scott Dorway, 44, at his home in Victoria. Mr. Dorway was arrested without incident and booked into the Carver County Jail on suspicion of possessing pornography involving minors.
BCA agents with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) arrested Mr. Dorway following the execution of search warrants at Mr. Dorway’s residence and at Chanhassen High School in Chanhassen where Mr. Dorway is the principal.
The warrants were executed with assistance from investigators with the Carver County Sheriff’s Office. The BCA’s investigation is active and ongoing. Charges in this case are pending.

The Minnesota ICAC Children Task Force investigates incidents of child exploitation. It is led by agents in the BCA Predatory Crimes Section, which conducts human trafficking, child exploitation and predatory offender investigations.
The BCA provides investigative and specialized law enforcement services to prevent and solve crimes in partnership with law enforcement, public safety and criminal justice agencies. Services include forensic laboratory analysis, criminal histories, investigations and criminal justice training.
