The Health Care Team inspects all health care facilities licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health and also those federally certified by the Federal Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services for federal reimbursement. Inspections are also conducted as required by the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Heath care facilities in these categories include: Hospitals, nursing homes, boarding care homes, supervised licensed facilities, outpatient surgical centers, hospice facilities, prisons/jails.
