SEOC Air Desk

State Patrol Helo Over Saint PaulThe SEOC Air Desk coordinates and communicates with Minnesota aviation assets to enhance situational awareness during SEOC activations.  Information is also provided to pilots and other aviation users that are directly or indirectly involved in air operations or part of a coordinated response.
 

SEOC All Hazards Air Operations Plan

The Minnesota Air Operations Plan (MAOP) ensures coordination and prioritization of all official air operations conducted in response to a disaster within the State of Minnesota.  
The MAOP provides planning and procedures to ensure the safety of aircrews, other responders and the public.  It also guides operational planning by ensuring that air response requests are properly reviewed for both mission-effectiveness and cost-efficiency.

Operational Information

Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR)

A TFR defines an area restricted to air travel due to a hazardous condition, a special event, or a general warning for the entire FAA airspace. The text of the actual TFR contains the fine points of the restriction.
