The City of Isanti is seeking to fill the Police Lieutenant position. The Police Lieutenant position supervises Police Officers and other police personnel as needed. Coordinating all activities and ensuring that all applicable directives, policies, and procedures are followed.
 
Minimum qualifications: a high school diploma or equivalent and POST certification, at least six (6) years of experience as a law enforcement officer/ related police position, experience within a leadership role, knowledge of statutes, regulations, policies and procedures related to the police field, proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with: supervisors, employees, the general public, elected officials/appointed boards, and the business community. Must pass a thorough background investigation. 
Preferred qualifications: a bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or a related field and two (2) years of police supervisory experience.
