September 2023 Training Update

The Fire Marshals Association of Minnesota (FMAM) and the State Fire Marshal (SFM) Division are working together to plan our annual Fire Marshals Conference that will take place Sept. 19-20 at the Eagan Community Center. Registration is now OPEN. This two-day conference will feature speakers from SFM, ​UrbanLogiq, Underwriter Laboratories, National Fire Sprinkler Association and more!

Full registration information and a list of classes can be found by visiting the FMAM Conference Page. Registration for the conference will close on Sept. 12th.

The SFM has a Fire Investigation Part II class scheduled for this fall in Fergus Falls on Sept.11-15. This class is limited to 24 students. Participants must have taken and successfully passed Part I within the last five years to be eligible to take Part II.​

As a reminder, the National Fire Academy (NFA) will be offering several classes in Minnesota in 2023 and 2024. Here's the list of upcoming courses, locations and dates:
