REAL ID Materials

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security extended the REAL ID full enforcement deadline to May 7, 2025. DVS is working to update REAL ID material to reflect this extension.

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety Driver and Vehicle Services division (DVS) designed a REAL ID fact sheet and brochure to serve as a guide for the public when deciding if a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or identification card is right for them.
