Minnesota is hosting the Governors Highway Safety Association national annual meeting

Traffic safety leaders and advocates from across the country are coming to Minnesota to learn, network and bring back ideas to their communities that will save lives. The Governor’s Highway Safety Association (GHSA) is holding its national annual meeting in Minneapolis from Aug.29 through Sept. 2. The theme is “From Data to Action: harnessing the Technology Revolution.”

A choice that can change everything

Lilyana — a “beacon of sunshine” — was 11 years old with her entire life ahead of her. Qiara, a 26-year-old mother of four, was the center of her kids’ world. A talented carpenter and beloved friend, Shane was 48 and remembered for always lending a helping hand. All three died because someone made a choice to drive distracted.
