A Minnesota surety bond is put in place to help protect customers that do business with a dealership, safeguarding them from illegal business practices. |

| Verification of property lease (PS2407) | Dealers must have an established place of business, either owned or with a minimum lease term of one year by the licensee. If owned, proof of property ownership, like a property tax document, is required. |

Dealers must have a commercial building on a permanent foundation. The building must be connected to local sewer and water facilities or comply with local sanitation codes, be adapted for commercial use and conform to local government requirements.
