HSEM provides a comprehensive training program for Minnesota’s emergency management professionals. We offer a mix of classroom, workshop, and e-learning courses to prepare professionals who play a role in improving Minnesota’s readiness. Please subscribe to our Training Bulletin to receive updates on training events throughout Minnesota and neighboring states. Access the Training Portal to register for upcoming classes or to review your student transcript.
If you have emergency management responsibilities to the State of Minnesota and would like to register for training courses, but do not have access to the Training Portal, please complete and submit a request access form. If you’re out of state and would like to register to attend a training session in Minnesota, please contact HSEM training below for availability.

Minnesota community emergency preparedness program
The Minnesota Community Emergency Preparedness (CEP) Program is an exercise-based training activity that places emergency response personnel under realistic crisis situations within a structured and safe learning environment. Training and simulations are tailored for your jurisdiction based on your needs. The Minnesota CEP stresses the functions, resources, organizations, and individuals in all phases of an emergency.
