​​​​​​​​​​Community engagement is key to the State Patrol’s mission. By interacting with the public, we can teach drivers about traffic safety while strengthening our community ties. We are dedicated to traffic safety and education through the following efforts.

Whom and what we teach

Traffic crashes are a leading cause of death for young drivers. It’s crucial to educate them about the serious consequences of bad driving choices.  

We also focus on providing the latest training and information to commercial drivers and carriers. This helps ensure that they follow current regulations.

We continually invest in community and school events throughout the state. We also connect with the public annually at these events:
