Grant programs

Become a grant reviewer

Grant reviewers are community members who evaluate applications for a variety of competitive grants we implement throughout the year. We use reviewer scores and recommendations to help determine which proposals are awarded grants. When possible, the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) will offer an honorarium to reviewers who fully complete the process.

Being a grant reviewer offers unique insights into the grant-making process for those interested in expanding and improving their own grant-writing skills. It also provides an opportunity to learn about programs and best practices across Minnesota.

Serving in this capacity is a great way to help make decisions about support for programming in Minnesota.
