The Office of Pipeline Safety's (OPS) goal is to improve industry performance and communications to prevent hazardous material transportation incidents, accidents, injuries, and fatalities. OPS utilizes data to track the frequency of failures, incidents, and accidents. OPS's data and analyses capabilities are instrumental in sustaining its mission to protect people and the environment by advancing the safe transportation of gas and other hazardous liquids that are essential to our daily lives.
OPS provides these resources to assist in building and maintaining public trust with open communication about pipeline safety enforcement actions and inspections across the state.
