Evening motorcycle testing program
Special evening hours for the state riding skills test
Several exam stations are open one night per week from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for motorcycle endorsement skill testing. An appointment is required. You can schedule an appointment online at drive.mn.gov by selecting "Schedule or Reschedule an Exam." Appointments will open for scheduling in April. You must have a valid motorcycle permit, or a motorcycle permit expired for less than one year, to schedule an appointment.
No tests are given in the rain or if the test surface is wet.
Students must:
- Provide your own motorcycle and a valid driver's license
- Bring protective gear including required helmet & eye protection
- Provide valid proof of insurance for the motorcycle used for testing
- Have a valid motorcycle instruction permit or a permit expired for less than one year
To study for the motorcycle permit test, view and download the Minnesota Motorcycle Manual.
