Sample ordinance for adopting the State Fire Code

Fire departments and officials can use this sample model ordinance for adopting the State Fire Code.

This language should be included at the top of the ordinance: The Minnesota State Fire Code, as adopted pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, section 299F.011, and as modified by Minnesota Rules, Chapter 7511, shall be applicable within the City of <insert city name>.
