MNJIS services for law enforcement

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension's Minnesota Justice Information Services (MNJIS) facilitates access to and exchange of information between sources of criminal justice data, providing technology and services to help agencies solve crimes, prosecute offenders and protect Minnesotans and all who visit our state. Before any new tool or service can be added, a Joint Powers Agreement must be in place. Below are sample resolutions for your use in obtaining city or county authorization to enter into a Joint Powers Agreement.
