About ECN
The Emergency Communication Networks Division oversees the Statewide 911 Program, the Allied Radio Matrix for Emergency Response (ARMER) radio communications network, the Interoperability Program, Integrated Public Alert and Warning Systems (IPAWS), and a statewide Wireless Broadband.
What we do
Emergency Communication Networks (ECN) provides leadership and support for the technologies that make 911 and emergency response possible.
ECN is the statewide home of four core program areas:
- 911 Program.
- Allied Radio Matrix for Emergency Response (ARMER) radio communications network.
- Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS).
- Wireless Broadband and Applications (WBB&A) initiative.
Together these programs and support staff allow ECN to responsibly serve the emergency response community and the general public.
