Unidentified Remains Project gives people back their names, families

Digital-evidence.jpgIt is devastating when a loved one is missing. Often, the pain of not knowing what happened can be among the worst parts. That's why our laboratory continues to explore and advance the use of scientific methods to help solve missing and unidentified persons cases. 

We have partnered with the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System as part of the BCA's Unidentified Remains Project, which helps us give formerly unidentified missing people back their names and return them to their families.

BCA Releases 2023 No-Knock Search Warrant Annual Report

cover.jpgMinnesota law enforcement agencies reported requesting 89 no-knock search warrants in 2023, and ultimately serving 71 of them. 

The BCA has released statewide information from local law enforcement agencies about their use of No-Knock Search Warrants in 2023.
