Collegiate specialized license plates
Minnesota universities and colleges that participate in the Collegiate Plate program raise money to benefit their Academic Excellence Scholarship programs. For all collegiate plates, a minimum $25 donation beyond your annual registration fee is mandatory.
Collegiate plates are available for passenger vehicles only. The plates are available with the disability parking symbol for qualified applicants, and the plates can be personalized. Plates may be transferred to another vehicle owned by the applicant. There is a $5 plate transfer fee.

How to apply
For fastest service please apply online or visit your local deputy registrar office.
