Critical Habitat specialized license plates

You must contribute at least $30 (beyond your annual registration fee) annually to receive a Critical Habitat license plate. Your contribution helps the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources purchase critical resource lands and improve habitat for fish, wildlife, and native plants. Larger donations are accepted. Critical Habitat plates collect more than $6 million annually to support land conservation through the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

Plates are available for passenger and recreational vehicles. All Critical Habitat plates are available with the disability parking symbol for qualified applicants, and the plates can be personalized.
