Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives specialized license plates
The Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives license plate funds are for distribution to the Minnesota Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives account which supports the investigation of unsolved cases and helps to establish a reward fund for information relating to missing and murdered Indigenous relatives.
The minimum annual contribution is $25, which is due with the initial application and each registration renewal. You may contribute more than the $25 minimum if you wish.
Plates are available for passenger vehicles, one-ton pickups, recreational vehicles and motorcycles. Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives license plates are available with the disability parking symbol for qualified applicants, and the plates can be personalized. Plates may be transferred to another vehicle owned by the applicant. There is a $5 transfer fee.
