License plates are printed with the applicant's call letters. The second set must be clearly marked with  "-1” subsequent sets will be marked “-2" “-3” etc. and an additional plate fee is required.

 
Citizen Band (CB)
Only one set of plates may be issued.
Important Note: The Federal government has discontinued issuing CB licenses. Consequently, only individuals currently possessing a CB license may apply. 

General Information

Display: Plates may be issued to a passenger class or self-propelled recreational (RV) class vehicles, owned or jointly owned by a licensed operator. 

Expiration: Registration expiration depends on the class of vehicle registration (passenger or recreational)

You may apply for plates at a deputy registrar office or by mailing an Application for Special Plates (PS2010) and appropriate fees to:

Plates may be transferred to another vehicle. There is a transfer fee.

Double Plate Issue

All other vehicles are issued double plates to display on the front and back of the vehicle. This includes cars, vans, pickups, trucks and buses.
