Incarcerated Person Information and Release Notification
Prior to Conviction
In Minnesota, victims of violent crime have a right to be
notified of the pretrial release of an incarcerated person from a county jail
or local detention facility. Although this notification takes place automatically,
victims are also encouraged to register with Victim Information and
Notification Everyday (VINE) to ensure timely and reliable notification. VINE
is not limited to victims as anyone can register for release notification.. >More on VINE
