Summary: The rule amendments incorporate new definitions, update reporting and depositing procedures, specify general requirements, and provide a variance procedure in order to allow for the acceptance of credit and debit cards by deputy registrars and to prescribe operational procedures for these transactions.
 
Amendments to Rules Relating to Deputy Registrars, Minnesota Rules, parts 7406.0100, 7406.0400, 7406.0450 and 7406.0500 were effective five working days after the notice of adoption was published in the State Register on Monday, June 20, 2011 (Cite 35 SR 1974). The proposed rules were published in the State Register on Monday, January 31, 2011 (Cite 35 SR 1163).
