The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Administrative Services Division oversees a wide range of services and educational programs for Minnesota's criminal justice community and the public.
The BCA Administrative Services Division's Criminal Justice Training and Education Unit
(CJTE) provides training on topics ranging from advanced skills training to business practices to technology. Members of the criminal justice community receive this training at BCA facilities in St. Paul and Bemidji, at criminal justice partner sites, and online.
The BCA Administrative Services Division also oversees several programs created to help the criminal justice community better interact with the public to solve crimes and aid in investigations. This includes not only public outreach efforts such as Amber Alert and the Minnesota Missing & Unidentified Persons Clearinghouse, but education efforts like NetSmartz and DARE.
