The 59th Annual Governor's Homeland Security and Emergency Management Conference is February 6 and 7, 2024.
The Minnesota Governor’s Homeland Security and Emergency Management Conference is the premier emergency management professional training and education event in Minnesota.
Participants will benefit from keynote speakers and general breakout training sessions. The conference will address current and critical topics in emergency management, incident response and disaster recovery for Minnesota.
All state and local emergency managers, emergency response personnel, and partners from businesses, non-profits and Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (VOAD) are invited and encouraged to register and attend.
The 2024 conference schedule is as follows:
Monday, Feb. 5: Pre-conference trainings
- AWR0407 Drone Assessment and Response Tactics (DART); 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- MGT0414 Critical Infrastructure Resilience and Community Lifelines; 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Feb. 6 and 7: Conference
- Featuring HSEM updates, motivating and informative keynote speakers, and a wide array of general sessions.

Thursday, Feb. 8: Post-conference training
- MGT0452 Physical and Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure; 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
